Hiking

When staying at Cardamom Tented Camp, one of the best ways to learn about the local wildlife, nature and external influences threating the park – such as illegal logging, poaching and habitat destruction – is by jungle hiking along the park’s trails.

During your stay, you will be taken on a guided tour of some of the trails in our area. You can also take a self-guided jungle hiking tour along one of our carefully prepared hiking trails situated around the camp.

If you are staying more than two nights, there is the option to join Forest Rangers on a more comprehensive patrol to remote parts of the park along a network of forest trails. As a longer-staying guest, you will also have more freedom to explore the forest, mangrove and river areas on your own, or go hiking, kayaking or wildlife watching with one of our experienced guides.
