Jungle Camp

Day 1

• After arrival, freshen up yourself at lodge’s lounge in Trapeang Rung before embarking for the hour’s trip over the Preak Tachan River to Cardamom Tented Camp, settle into your comfortable safari-style tent.
• On arrival, you will get a brief introduction to the camp and about the conservation and protection work of Wildlife Alliance.
• Spend the afternoon at your leisure, swim, kayak or relax at the Riverside Restaurant as the sun sets over Botum Sakor National Park.
• Enjoy dinner followed by a night of relaxing and unwinding at Cardamom Tented Camp.
• Overnight at Cardamom Tented Camp. (Meal: D)

Day 2

• After early breakfast, together with an English-speaking guide, we will embark on a trek through the dense forest to the ranger station. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife, like macaque, gibbon, or hornbill.
• The half-day trip will stop by the Ranger Station, where confiscated snares, traps, and improvised hunting rifles are on display. We will continue to the hanging tents where we will take lunch.
• Relaxing afternoon along the river, swimming, or exploring upriver by kayak. In the evening you will have a barbecue diner before taking to your hanging tent for the night.
  Overnight on the tentsile tent in the jungle. (Meal: B, L, D)

Day 3

• Enjoy a simple breakfast at the campsite before kayaking back to Cardamom Tented Camp for lunch.
• After lunch, relax at your leisure, swimming, kayaking, or enjoy a self-guided walk along trails around the camp or relax at the Riverside restaurant.
• Enjoy dinner followed by a night of relaxing and unwinding at Cardamom Tented Camp.
• Overnight at Cardamom Tented Camp. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 4

• Breakfast at leisure. If you are an early riser, you can go on a self-guided hike on the trails around the camp or go for kayaking with a cup of tea or coffee.
• At 10:00 am, boarding on the shuttle boat cruising back to Trapeang Rung. (Meals: B)
